How the selected-term Smart Cash projection works
The calculator first estimates Year-1 Smart Cash from the suggested Digital Solar capacity. It then applies the selected annual generation degradation and repeats the calculation for each year in the customer-selected plan term.
Year N Smart Cash = Year-1 Smart Cash × (1 − annual degradation rate)(N−1)
The adjusted total is the sum of Year 1 through the selected term. A simple Year-1 × selected-term comparison is also shown so customers can see the effect of annual generation degradation.
